Selling in the UAE and Saudi Arabia from the UK
Can a UK limited company sell on Amazon UAE?
Yes, usually. Amazon says businesses outside the Middle East may not need to form a Middle East company. A UK company can open or link an Amazon.ae account and must register for UAE VAT as a non-resident before selling. We check your documents and register both.
Can I use my Amazon UK account for the UAE and Saudi Arabia?
You can link it. The UAE and Saudi stores are separate country accounts, connected through Sell Globally, so you manage them from one login and copy listings across. Each country still needs its own VAT number.
Does a UK trademark work for Amazon Brand Registry in the UAE?
Yes. UK IPO trademarks are accepted for Brand Registry. We have taken six brands to Brand Registry approval using UK IPO trademarks.
Do UK sellers pay UAE VAT from the first sale?
Yes. There is no registration threshold for non-resident businesses in the UAE (5% VAT) or Saudi Arabia (15% VAT), so you register before you sell.
How much does it cost?
UAE VAT registration is USD 250 and Saudi VAT USD 300, one-time. Account management starts at USD 200 a month per country for up to 10 products. Advertising, marketplace and shipping fees are paid directly by you. See the pricing page for every package.
